After last year’s adventure, the French riders Franck and Patrick return to the tracks of Morocco aboard an SSV
Among the participants in the FenekRally, which will take place from October 5 to 13 in Morocco, are the Frenchmen Franck Boulay and Patrick Debaussage, who will be on the track aboard a Can-Am Maverick X3. The crew, representing the colors of Team Fesh-Fesh, will start this new edition of the rally raid organized by Lluis Rosa, driving a powerful 200 hp SSV.
For Franck, 55, a manager by profession, and Patrick, 58, an IT specialist, the 2024 participation is not their first time at the FenekRally. In fact, already last year, the two Frenchmen, passionate about adventure and the desert, took part in the race in two different crews, always under the colors of the Fesh-Fesh sports team.

“The experience of the last edition pleased us a lot, both for the routes and for the organization,” they comment. “We didn’t think twice about signing up again, but this time sharing the same cockpit. The Fenek is a great automotive event, where the friendly and family atmosphere plays an important role, even though the competitive spirit is of course always present. The landscapes of southern Morocco are unique, and the people are friendly and smiling. From a technical point of view, we enjoy roadbook navigation, which allows us to challenge ourselves and improve our orientation, and of course to drive on sandy terrain, tracks, and dunes. We are sure it will be a beautiful adventure once again.”
For Boulay (driver) and Debaussage (navigator), the FenekRally will begin on October 6 with administrative and technical checks, followed by the general briefing and the prologue. It will then continue in the following days with the five loop stages planned for this edition of the rally. The crews will face a course of 1200 km, across some of the most demanding terrain in the world.
