El piloto de Bayona gana la edici\u00f3n 2024 en su Fantic XEF 450 Rally<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abUna victoria inesperada\u00bb. Tom Deest, franc\u00e9s de 32 a\u00f1os, natural de Bayona (departamento de Pirineos Atl\u00e1nticos), sonre\u00eda feliz a la llegada del FenekRally. En su Fantic, tras recorrer m\u00e1s de 1.200 km alrededor de Merzouga (Marruecos), Deest gan\u00f3 el t\u00edtulo absoluto en la categor\u00eda de motos con un tiempo total de 22h29’15\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abLa FenekRally fue mi primera experiencia de rally raid. Me inscrib\u00ed con el \u00fanico objetivo de descubrir esta disciplina que siempre me ha hecho so\u00f1ar y aprender los fundamentos de la navegaci\u00f3n \u00a1en plena naturaleza! Durante a\u00f1os, cada invierno, ve\u00eda el Dakar por televisi\u00f3n con mi padre, con el sue\u00f1o secreto de participar alg\u00fan d\u00eda en un rally raid\u00bb, cuenta Tom. En el pr\u00f3logo, me perd\u00ed y tuve una penalizaci\u00f3n\u2026 un duro golpe y una vuelta a la realidad que me hizo darme cuenta de que realmente hay mucho que aprender. Luego 5 especiales: la navegaci\u00f3n mejoraba un poco m\u00e1s cada d\u00eda hasta convertirse en un juego realmente divertido con el objetivo de mantener un buen ritmo de carrera sin penalizar. El recorrido era excepcional, con diferentes paisajes: de pistas r\u00e1pidas a tramos t\u00e9cnicos, de rocas a arena, de cauces secos a dunas. Lo \u00fanico que lamento es no haber tenido tiempo de hacer fotos para ense\u00f1\u00e1rselas a mis amigos y a mi familia\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las malas condiciones meteorol\u00f3gicas de las semanas previas a la carrera hicieron que las pistas del sur de Marruecos fueran especialmente dif\u00edciles. \u00abEn algunas ocasiones, el roadbook no estaba muy actualizado y tuvimos que adaptarnos: lo comprend\u00ed despu\u00e9s de un aparatoso accidente el primer d\u00eda – prosigue Deest – Pero el rally raid es eso, una carrera de duraci\u00f3n y resistencia, en la que no es posible conducir al 100% y en la que no todos los peligros pueden estar indicados en el roadbook, as\u00ed que \u00a1ten cuidado y estate atento!\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo se organiz\u00f3 la FenekRally? \u00abTengo que decir que muy familiar, con especial atenci\u00f3n a los motoristas. Siempre una buena palabra para animarnos, tanto en los buenos momentos como en los dif\u00edciles\u2026 \u00a1y hubo muchos! La FenekRally me permiti\u00f3 aprender a navegar y cumplir un sue\u00f1o de la infancia, pero sobre todo me permiti\u00f3 conocer a otros moteros y conductores de SSV\/Auto muy amables. No me esperaba este ambiente de competici\u00f3n: si es el esp\u00edritu rally raid, creo que he encontrado la disciplina que realmente me gusta. Y por eso: gracias FenekRally\u00bb concluye el piloto franc\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
