Piloto, alma y gu\u00eda del Touareg Adventure Club, Manuel est\u00e1 listo para subirse de nuevo a la moto y afrontar el FenekRally 2025, que se celebrar\u00e1 del 15 al 23 de noviembre en Marruecos. Con m\u00e1s de veinte a\u00f1os de experiencia en rally raids y una vida entre dunas y roadbooks, este riojano nacido hace 60 a\u00f1os en Calahorra encara este nuevo reto con entusiasmo y determinaci\u00f3n. Me sub\u00ed por primera vez a una moto con 13 a\u00f1os. Era una pasi\u00f3n que siempre sent\u00ed dentro. Empec\u00e9 en el enduro amateur, pero al principio nada sal\u00eda: empujaba la moto m\u00e1s que montarla, mientras los dem\u00e1s se re\u00edan. Pero guardo un recuerdo especial: durante una carrera, un piloto veterano empez\u00f3 a llamarme \u201cMurchiano\u201d, por el origen de mi padre, nacido en Murcia. Ese apodo se qued\u00f3, y al final se convirti\u00f3 simplemente en \u2018Murchi\u2019. Y a\u00fan lo llevo con orgullo\u201d<\/em>, relata Manuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfCu\u00e1l fue el punto de inflexi\u00f3n deportivo? <em>\u201cEn 2002 particip\u00e9 por primera vez en la Baja Espa\u00f1a Arag\u00f3n con un grupo de amigos. \u00c9ramos unos 15, pero solo dos cruzamos la meta. A partir de ah\u00ed todo cambi\u00f3: dej\u00e9 de fumar, empec\u00e9 a entrenar en serio, y me apunt\u00e9 a un viaje organizado por Jordi Arcarons en Marruecos. Ah\u00ed descubr\u00ed la navegaci\u00f3n, el roadbook y la magia del desierto. Desde ese momento, el rally pas\u00f3 a formar parte de mi vida\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Su palmar\u00e9s incluye centenares de pruebas nacionales e internacionales: Dakar, 23 ediciones de la Baja Espa\u00f1a Arag\u00f3n, Merzouga Rally, Rally du Maroc, Pharaons Rally, Tunisia Rally, Hellas Rally y muchas otras carreras africanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De piloto a formador: as\u00ed naci\u00f3 el Touareg Adventure Club. <em>\u201cEn 2010 me hice una pregunta sencilla: \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 un amateur no deber\u00eda tener las mismas oportunidades que un profesional? As\u00ed, al a\u00f1o siguiente, naci\u00f3 el Touareg Adventure Club, pensado para quien sue\u00f1a con el rally raid pero no sabe por d\u00f3nde empezar. Ahora tenemos m\u00e1s de 800 socios en todo el mundo, con m\u00e1s de 150 pilotos activos. Ofrecemos formaci\u00f3n, asistencia y apoyo en competici\u00f3n. Si tienes un sue\u00f1o, te ayudamos a convertirlo en realidad. En carretera\u2026 o mejor dicho, en off-road\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 has elegido el FenekRally entre tantas pruebas? <em>\u201cMe llamaba la atenci\u00f3n desde hac\u00eda tiempo, cuando se celebraba en T\u00fanez. El a\u00f1o pasado ya pens\u00e9 en inscribirme, pero est\u00e1bamos ocupados como equipo en el Rally du Maroc. Este a\u00f1o s\u00ed que vamos. Este rally me gusta porque tiene un formato equilibrado: medido en tama\u00f1o, pero de gran nivel organizativo y con una prioridad clara: la seguridad. Hemos analizado todos los rallyes de este oto\u00f1o y apostamos por FenekRally firmado por Lluis Rosa. Una apuesta que seguro dar\u00e1 frutos\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfC\u00f3mo te est\u00e1s preparando para la carrera? <em>\u201cNinguna preparaci\u00f3n especial, ya no tengo edad para eso<\/em> -r\u00ede \u201cMurchi\u201d- <em>Mi objetivo es disfrutar y exprimir cada roadbook que Lluis y su equipo han preparado. Marruecos es nuestra segunda casa: llevamos m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os viniendo, y aqu\u00ed casi todo el pa\u00eds nos conoce. Tambi\u00e9n es nuestro segundo mercado en redes, despu\u00e9s de Espa\u00f1a.
