Apr\u00e8s l’\u00e9motionnante premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition de l’ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, Andr\u00e9 Trilling et sa femme Jolanda de Jong seront \u00e0 nouveau au d\u00e9part du rallye organis\u00e9 par Lluis Rosa. Voici ce qu’ils nous ont racont\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

De retour de Sardaigne, o\u00f9 ils ont fait un tour avec leur SSV, les n\u00e9erlandais Andr\u00e9 Trilling et Jolanda de Jong pensent d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 leur prochaine aventure dans le d\u00e9sert du Maroc: le FenekRally 2025. L’\u00e9quipage du Dutch Driving Team rel\u00e8vera \u00e0 nouveau le d\u00e9fi des pistes marocaines \u00e0 bord du Yamaha YXZ qu’ils ont achet\u00e9 il y a quelques ann\u00e9es et \u00e9quip\u00e9 pour des rassemblements off-road et des rallyes-raids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comment avez-vous d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de vous inscrire \u00e0 l’\u00e9dition pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente du FenekRally? \u00ab\u00a0Par hasard! En janvier de l’ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, en Espagne, au soleil d’hiver et en sirotant un bon verre de vin, nous discutions avec nos ‘amis de buggy’ \u2013 David Fletcher et Laura Harris \u2013 au sujet du FenekRally au Maroc. Ils avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 particip\u00e9 deux fois avec leur SSV et s’\u00e9taient r\u00e9cemment inscrits \u00e0 l’\u00e9dition suivante. Leurs r\u00e9cits ont imm\u00e9diatement piqu\u00e9 notre curiosit\u00e9, \u00e0 ma femme et \u00e0 moi. Un rapide coup d’\u0153il sur le site web du rallye, quelques questions in\u00e9vitables (Pouvons-nous le faire ? Ce ne sera pas trop pour nous ?) et nous voil\u00e0 parmi les participants!\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> explique Andr\u00e9.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

En octobre 2024, au d\u00e9part de la cat\u00e9gorie \u00ab\u00a0rallye\u00a0\u00bb, avec le num\u00e9ro de course #404, se trouve donc le Yamaha YXZ d’Andr\u00e9 et Jolanda. Comment avez-vous pr\u00e9par\u00e9 le v\u00e9hicule et l’\u00e9quipage ? \u00ab\u00a0En ce qui concerne le SSV, un tableau de bord de rallye a \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9 sur le c\u00f4t\u00e9 droit pour accueillir le tripmaster Stella EVO III ainsi qu’un contr\u00f4le d’alimentation pour un compresseur d’air d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux pneus. Nous avons ensuite achet\u00e9 un roadbook \u00e9lectronique et mont\u00e9 des pneus adapt\u00e9s au terrain off-road du Maroc. Avant de partir, j’ai contact\u00e9 aux Pays-Bas un expert de la Dakar, Tim Coronel, pour avoir une br\u00e8ve explication sur les \u00e9quipements technologiques et leur utilisation<\/em> -poursuit Andr\u00e9- Une fois arriv\u00e9s sur le terrain de course au Maroc, nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis \u00e0 l’aise : quelle belle ambiance au bivouac! M\u00eame si tout le monde \u00e9tait occup\u00e9 \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer et finaliser mille choses, ils ont toujours eu le temps de nous donner des conseils pr\u00e9cieux.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pr\u00eats pour le d\u00e9part, comment s’est pass\u00e9 le prologue? \u00ab\u00a0\u00c9videmment, \u00e9tant \u00e0 notre premi\u00e8re exp\u00e9rience, nous ne nous attendions \u00e0 rien: finalement, malgr\u00e9 une temp\u00eate de sable soudaine et assez forte, nous avons termin\u00e9 huiti\u00e8mes dans notre groupe. La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape a \u00e9galement bien commenc\u00e9, mais n’ayant pas encore une grande ma\u00eetrise du roadbook, nous avons ensuite perdu la bonne trace et sommes donc retourn\u00e9s au bivouac. Les jours suivants, nous avons essay\u00e9 de gagner en exp\u00e9rience, parfois en franchissant bien les dunes sur le parcours, parfois en choisissant de les contourner parce qu’elles \u00e9taient trop hautes pour des d\u00e9butants comme nous<\/em> -racontent Andr\u00e9 et Jolanda- Lors d’une des derni\u00e8res \u00e9tapes, nous nous sommes vraiment perdus et \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0, nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de contacter l’organisation en appuyant sur le bouton S.O.S. sur le Stella Evo III : le personnel nous a donn\u00e9 toutes les informations n\u00e9cessaires pour atteindre en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 un village d’o\u00f9 nous avons ensuite repris la route pour retourner au camp de base\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un bapt\u00eame \u00e9mouvant dans le monde des rallyes-raid pour Andr\u00e9 et Jolanda qui seront de nouveau au d\u00e9part du FenekRally cette ann\u00e9e. \u201cL’exp\u00e9rience de l’ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re nous a vraiment beaucoup plu, donc nous ne pouvions que nous inscrire \u00e0 nouveau pour am\u00e9liorer nos comp\u00e9tences de conduite et de navigation et, bien s\u00fbr, nous amuser encore plus!<\/em> -explique Andr\u00e9- Une fois l’inscription formalis\u00e9e, j’ai demand\u00e9 \u00e0 l’organisation s’il y avait un cours de formation auquel participer pour acqu\u00e9rir plus de connaissances pratiques et th\u00e9oriques pour ce type d’\u00e9v\u00e9nements. Et voil\u00e0: le personnel a imm\u00e9diatement organis\u00e9 un cours de deux jours sp\u00e9cifique pour ceux qui souhaitent participer de mani\u00e8re s\u00fbre et responsable \u00e0 ces rallyes-raid <\/em>(on peut s’inscrire en ligne). Le cours se d\u00e9roule juste avant le d\u00e9but de l’\u00e9dition 2025, rendant ainsi la logistique tr\u00e8s pratique. Nous avons h\u00e2te de prendre part \u00e0 cette nouvelle aventure.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pourquoi recommanderiez-vous de participer au FenekRally? \u201cPour les magnifiques paysages du Maroc et sa population sympathique, pour l’atmosph\u00e8re amicale pendant le rallye et le temps pass\u00e9 ensemble au bivouac avec les autres \u00e9quipages. Un beau m\u00e9lange pour des rookies amateurs comme nous. Mais aussi pour voir de pr\u00e8s les \u00e9quipes de professionnels. Avec ma femme, nous avons eu des conversations agr\u00e9ables avec l’\u00e9quipe f\u00e9minine espagnole qui participe avec le camion et nous avons discut\u00e9 avec des motards et d’autres participants\u201d<\/em> conclut Andr\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
