OFF-ROAD ADVENTURE IN MOROCCO #fenekrally2023
Amid the dunes and dirt tracks of Morocco, the 2023 edition of the rally-raid organized by Spanish driver Lluis Rosa took place.
Five stages exploring Moroccan territory offered participants an unforgettable experience in this motorsport competition, named after the fennec, the small desert fox native to the Sahara.
Inspired by the legendary Dakar Rally, this event has, over the years, earned the admiration of off-road driving enthusiasts. The rally covered more than 1,300 kilometers across the Moroccan desert, with five “loop” stages—each starting and finishing in Erfoud—providing teams with a wide variety of terrains to master: sand dunes, rocky plateaus, and fast tracks.
On the starting grid of the October edition were both professional drivers and passionate amateurs, all driven by a strong spirit of adventure. Beyond its competitive nature, FenekRally offered participants the chance to immerse themselves in authentic Moroccan life through local cuisine and cultural activities held alongside the rally. Competitors experienced firsthand the customs, traditions, and hospitality of the region and its people, adding even greater richness to their off-road journey.
