The Fesh-Fesh team returns to FenekRally with two crews at the start of the 2025 edition

Franck Boulay/Patrick Debaussage and Loic Frebourg/Aurelien Mina will once again compete on the Moroccan rally tracks aboard their Can-Am SSV.

A triple for the French Fesh-Fesh team at FenekRally. For the third time, two crews from Blois, a charming town about 170 km south of Paris, will line up at the start of the motorsport event organized by Lluis Rosa and his staff, scheduled to take place in Morocco from November 15th to 23rd.

In the 2025 edition of FenekRally – which will follow the same format as previous editions, with a prologue and 5 circular stages at Merzouga, Taouz, Ouzina, Ramlia, Erfoud, and other small villages – two crews representing the Fesh-Fesh team will participate.

Franck Boulay, an entrepreneur in the automotive sector as well as in the hospitality and catering industries, will be behind the wheel of a high-performance 200-horsepower Can-Am SSV, accompanied by Patrick Debaussage, a computer scientist by profession, in the role of co-driver. The French crew, which has been participating in off-road competitions and events in North Africa for years, is passionate about driving, roadbook navigation, adventure and the desert. Boulay also took part in the 2025 Dakar, this time as navigator for his friend Loic Frebourg, finishing the thrilling Saudi experience in 28th place in their category.

Another Can-Am will also be put to the test on the FenekRally tracks, this one belonging to the crew composed of Loic Frebourg, a former football player (he also played for INF Vichy, now Clairefontaine), who has been running an IT services company for 20 years, and Aurelien Mina, a 31-year-old mechanic, seated on the right side of the vehicle and responsible for the roadbook.

The two SSV will face a challenging course of over 1,200 kilometers crossing tracks, sand, and dunes, with both technical and fast sections. “For the next edition of FenekRally, we will participate with two Can-Am Maverick X3 or maybe two Maverick R, we are still evaluating the best option -explains Loic- In both cases, the vehicles will be specifically prepared for rally raids, with all the necessary safety equipment and larger fuel tanks.”

After the Dakar (“a dream I’ve had since I was a child” says Loic), driving a Can-Am Maverick XRS in the T3.1 category, Frebourg and the other 3 members of the Fesh-Fesh team will be back at FenekRally. “We decided to participate for the third time in this off-road event because it is a true rally with roadbook navigation, and the fact that we have the same hotel as a logistical base for the entire week is a formula we really like because it guarantees more comfort. And then there is the very pleasant, friendly atmosphere, even though it’s competitive, among the participants, as well as the professionalism of the organization. We had a great time in the past editions and we are sure it will be the same this time” concludes Frebourg.

Good luck to the Fesh-Fesh team!
