The French team Alexandre Jonchère and Fabien Rouvre, in their Land Cruiser, will be at the start of the rally on October 5.
With a standard engine, a reinforced chassis, and an enlarged fuel tank, this is the preparation of the Toyota Land Cruiser from the Altitude Racing team that will start on October 5 in the new edition of the FenekRally, the rally raid organized by Dakar co-driver Lluis Rosa.

Alexandre Jonchère, driver, and Fabien Rouvre, navigator, aged 45 and 36 respectively, will be aboard the Land Cruiser, equipped to take on the off-road competition.
Why did they decide to take part in the FenekRally? “Fabien and I want to improve our driving and navigation skills by testing ourselves in competitions like the Fenek, with a view to future events we would like to join, such as the Africa Eco Race,” explains Alexandre, who in his daily life works as a shopkeeper in Annecy, Haute-Savoie. “It’s a fun rally, with a family atmosphere but also competitive. We’re sure it will be an interesting experience that will allow us to improve our skills and also strengthen the relationship between driver and co-driver inside the Toyota.”
You already took part in the 2023 FenekRally (Alexandre on a Bowler), as well as in other African rally raids: what do you expect from this new adventure? “Yes, we have already participated in other off-road events on quad and by car; the most recent one was the Morocco Sand Express L’Oasis in May, where we achieved a valuable third place in the 4×4 category, of which we are very proud,” say Alexandre and Fabien (owner of a Peugeot Citroën workshop in Tours, Touraine). “We enthusiastically decided to return this year to the Moroccan tracks of the FenekRally aboard the Toyota Land Cruiser. Our goal? To achieve a great result in the 4×4 category!”
