That’s right, friends! For the October Morocco edition, we are introducing a brand-new category: Rally Classics—a category for vehicles from the 1980s and 1990s, considered true classic cars.
In this category, only vehicles manufactured before the year 2000 will be accepted. Unlike a speed-based race, this will be a regularity event, meaning that classification will be determined by maintaining an average speed within designated sections.
Since the power of classic vehicles doesn’t match that of modern rally cars, the race has been specially adapted to avoid breakdowns or overheating. Still, some stretches will certainly make even the most experienced drivers’ hearts race.
Participants in the Classics category will start and finish alongside the modern vehicles and will also stay in the same bivouacs or hotels. The main difference for this category lies in the number of timed kilometers they will cover.
