After the first three scorching stages of the FenekRally Spring 2026, the provisional general standings are shaping the first true masters of the dunes.
Erfoud (Morocco), May 27, 2026. The FenekRally Spring 2026 is getting into the thick of the action. With the first three grueling stages now archived, the desert has already begun delivering its first severe verdicts. Fatigue is taking its toll, navigation is becoming increasingly crucial, and riders are putting on a show with battles decided by mere seconds.
Two wheels: French derby in MT1
The MT1 category is delivering an absolute thriller, turning into a head-to-head battle among three French riders. Looking down on everyone from the top of the provisional podium is a fierce Geoffroy Lemercier. Riding his high-performance KTM 450 Rally Replica Factory, Lemercier clocked a total time of 11h38’49”, imposing an impressive pace on the race. Right behind him, however, the ground is burning. Nathan Blache, aboard the Kove 450 Rally, chases in second place with a time of 12h00’12”, closely followed by compatriot Guillaume Pouget (also on a Kove 450), third with 12h04’13”. A French hat-trick that promises sparks in the upcoming stages, fueled by the technical duel between KTM and Kove. Meanwhile, in the MT2 category, the spotlight is entirely on Nicolas Bourrez aboard his powerful KTM 890 ADV R.
Four wheels: Team Chap’s and Cartagena Panda Racing rule the field
While the bikes are fighting on the razor’s edge of minutes, the provisional leaders in the car categories are trying to widen the gap. In T1, the top of the general standings is firmly in the hands of Team Chap’s. Aboard their BMC, they closed the first three segments with an overall time of 12h47’40”, proving impeccable consistency and mechanical reliability over the pitfalls of the track. A similar tune is playing in T2, where Cartagena Panda Racing is literally dominating the scene. Behind the wheel of their trusty Toyota FJ, the crew sits firmly in command with an overall time of 18h43’27”. A solid leadership, yet one that allows for no distractions: right behind them, ready to exploit the slightest misstep, chase their rivals from the Massou Family aboard a Toyota HDJ100.

SSV and Side-by-Side: tight battles in T3 and T4
As constantly growing categories with a very high adrenaline factor, the Side-by-Sides are shaking up the stopwatch. In T3, we are witnessing total dominance by Can-Am. Leading the provisional standings is Quad Bike Evasion Cognac, which recorded an exceptional time of 11h41’13” aboard the Maverick R. The chase is led by Bemar Team (also on Can-Am), sitting in a provisional second place with a time of 13h14’59”. The T4 class, on the other hand, has turned into an all-out battleground, provisionally led by the Mas Vale Tarde crew on a Polaris XP Pro Ultimate, capable of stopping the clock at 12h54’19”. The hunt for the lead is wide open: Team Unique Racing on a Polaris RZR PRO XP is hot on their heels at 13h11’01”, while the virtual third step of the podium is occupied by Team MHM on a CFMoto Z10 with a total time of 15h52’33”.
Overland: a millimetric fight down to the points
Not just pure speed, but also strategy, navigation, and endurance. The Overland category is experiencing a razor-sharp battle where a single penalty or route choice can make all the difference. Currently leading the pack with 592 points is Team Amnezia aboard their robust Toyota HDJ100. Right behind them, the competition is breathing down their necks: Team Landquad, on an Arctic Cat, chases just four points behind with a solid 588 points. Further back, but firmly on the provisional podium, sits Team Jackal Racing on a Toyota Land Cruiser, defending third place with 390 points.
With the desert becoming increasingly unpredictable and navigation set to severely test the remaining teams, the FenekRally Spring 2026 is far from over. Who will withstand the fatigue and pressure of the upcoming stages?
